The company's technology has been extended from studio-quality text-to-speech into real-time voice agents capable of conducting telephone conversations. PlayHT's core text-to-speech product supports over 800 AI voices across 100+ languages, with fine-grained control over emotion, pace, and emphasis. The PlayHT 2.0 model delivers ultra-realistic voice output capable of passing as human speech in many contexts. The voice cloning feature allows businesses to create synthetic versions of specific voices (with consent), enabling brand voice consistency across content.
