Phrase is a translation management platform founded in Prague in 2010 as Memsource, rebranded to Phrase following its acquisition and growth into a broader localisation suite. The platform serves software localisation, content translation, and marketing teams at enterprises across Europe and globally, covering string management, translation memory, machine translation integration, and QA automation. Phrase's AI capabilities include neural machine translation via integrations with DeepL, Google Translate, and Microsoft Translator, plus its own AI-assisted quality estimation (MTQE) that scores machine translation output before human review.
