Mistral Le Chat is Mistral AI's flagship AI assistant, providing a conversational interface to Mistral's family of large language models including Mistral Large, Mistral Small, and the multimodal Pixtral models. Launched in early 2024 and rapidly iterated, Le Chat competes directly with ChatGPT and Claude as a general-purpose AI productivity tool, with a particular focus on European business users who require a sovereignty-aligned alternative to US-based AI providers.
